Talk 1 - Local Industry Spotlight: 5G Core and RAN Development at Viettel

As the global telecommunications landscape transitions to open, virtualized, and efficient architectures and to enable new services, building a complete end-to-end 5G ecosystem with carrier-grade quality presents both immense opportunities and complex engineering hurdles. Viettel High Tech (VHT) has emerged as one of the few new successful players in this important high-tech domain. This session provides a comprehensive look into Viettel High Tech’s (VHT) journey in developing home-grown 5G infrastructure products and technologies, spanning from high-performance Radio Access Networks (RAN)—including advanced Massive MIMO gNodeBs and Open RAN — to a fully cloud-native 5G Core network, and becoming recognized world-wide.
